You fear you’re too much for people
Your inner critic is telling you that you’re ‘too much’, too big, too loud, too opinionated, too excited, too happy! Too, too, too.
Secretly, you acknowledge, apologetically, the magnificent Flamingo as an inner animal spirit, whose wings need liberating, in a world that favours the overpopulated pigeon.
Fitting in slowly extinguishes your inner fire
I understand that it feels more acceptable to just fit in. It can feel really scary putting ourselves out there. There might be some residue of shame from the past that needs resolving. But by conforming to the status quo day in, day out, we slowly extinguish our inner fire and when that happens, our feathers start to fall out.
Conforming is boring, but it’s safe there
Like you I found myself conforming to the status quo, keeping a lid on me, because the real me was a little bit too much. So, I went travelling in search of people who get me and love me for my unique way of being. I found my tribe, my voice, my Flamingo animal spirit and I now express myself through dance whenever I can.
Dance with your inner Flamingo!
If your inner Flamingo needs to be set free I encourage dancing as one of the most freeing forms of creative expression. Create a playlist of your favourite dance tunes on Spotify and take the time to set up a space where you can dance freely without inhibition – why not get right into it; dress up and dance in your favourite frock!
Take a moment to come into your space, close your eyes, breath in deeply for three deep breaths and imagine you are a magnificent Flamingo. Then open your eyes and start to dance the Flamingo Strut!
I can be ME!
The Virtual Women’s Village, is my safe place where I can be me amongst a flock of women who accept me for who I truly am. A sexy, creative, joyous woman who loves to see other women basking in their own Flamingo glory.
Infinite love and gratitude,
You deserve to be nurtured the way you nurture others
The members of our Virtual Women’s Village know what it’s like to be apart of a truly safe, loving and nurturing sisterhood.
Every day, women are re-claiming their lives piece by piece to remember who they really are, before they got crazy busy and lost in the never ending ‘to-do’ lists and demands of ‘life’.
What are you yearning for? What’s that something ‘more’ that’s nagging deep inside you?
We all have access to this knowing, but often we need a little support to find it. Reach out, take our hand and let’s find out together.
