1 in 4 women in Australia feel lonely. A sense of disconnection from their community often unearths feelings of isolation, disempowerment and sadness.

At the heart of the Women’s Village is the desire to create space for women to connect. We believe that all women deserve access to space where they can feel connected, seen and heard.

Part of our essential work is creating inspiring spaces where women can come together in community and share in beautiful experiences.

Connecting and Creating in the Festive Spirit

A M A Z I N G was buzz word at our Christmas Wreath workshops.

20 ladies, 20 wreaths all just stunning in their own way.

Such a wonderful way to pause in a season of crazy, open to one’s creative flow and connect with others and nature in a very beautiful way.

We especially loved how some chose this as mother/daughter and grandmother/granddaughter experience to share.

“I don’t ever stop long enough to look closely and appreciate beautiful foliage. It’s great to take time out and think about nothing else” said Leyla

We look forward to the day when we have our physical Women’s Village, where there’ll always be a space available for creative togetherness.

Winter Solstice Immersion 2023 with Tania Guest

Embracing the seasons with a full immersion into to richness of Winter -2023

The Winter Solstice is the perfect pivot point to honour the shadow and the light in our lives, as we uncurl from our cocoons and gather with our women-folk to celebrate community and Sisterhood.

This is a powerful time to let go of that which no longer serves us and invite in the fresh energy of renewal through ritual and ceremony.

16 women gathered around the fire in a cosy cocoon on a private farm property in the beautiful Adelaide Hills and were immersed in 1 hour of sound and meditation, then came together in circle with ritual and ceremony. The sacred space supported women to connect deeply with themselves and with others, allowing a safe dive into vulnerability to be truly seen and heard.

Spring Equinox with Tania Guest

Embracing the seasons at our Spring Equinox Circle with the energy of renewal and manifestation

Spring Equinox, is a special time of balance when the day and night is of equal length, and we head towards the warmth of Summer.

This day is the perfect pivot point to celebrate our personal and collective awakening from the deep winter months and gather with our women-folk to celebrate community and Sisterhood.

Our Spring Equinox Circle was a powerful time to connect with the energy of manifestation and invite in the fresh energy of renewal and fertility through ritual and ceremony.

11 women gathered to together spend 2 hours in circle working with the element of air and other tools to support manifestation.

Vision Board Workshop

Creating the life you desire with vision board inspiration

Women were lead by facilitators Estelle Woods and Sonja Olsen on a journey to create a vision board for the life they desire. They enjoyed the guidance around intention setting, the ‘me’ time to fully be present for themselves, the connection and conversation that flowed, and the beautiful closing meditation to complete the experience. Everyone was delighted with their beautiful visual creation, ready to take pride of place at home – pinned up on doors, mirrors or walls as a constant reminder that the magic of manifestation is available to them anytime.

International Women's Day with the Women's Village

A day of barefoot beauty in the forest to celebrate International Women’s Day

Women were encouraged to don their floaty florals for a day of barefoot beauty in the forest, with the intention of grounding, connection, and an honouring of the feminine, aligned with the International Women’s Day theme.

We created flower crowns whilst we gathered in circle for a themed share, followed by a catered ‘Boho’ style picnic lunch, and finally an afternoon experience of their choosing; either creating a Nature Mandala, or Forest Bathing (walking, sensory meditation).

It was a truly unique and magnificent day which we hope to repeat next year.

Business the Feminine Way – 2022/2023

Biz Sisters is designed as a space to understand what your business is teaching you. To identify and remove the blocks preventing you from fulfilling your purpose and make a plan.

In December 2022, 11 women began their 8 month journey into the Women’s Village Biz Sisters program and are loving the very unique opportunity where business and the feminine meet and empower them.

Soul Collage Workshop with Stephanie Mitchell

Let your Soul guide your hands to create a unique gift to you – 2022

SoulCollage™ is a process through which you contact your intuition and create cards which have deep personal meaning, and which will help you with life’s questions.

Based on Jungian principles, by following the simple SoulCollage™ directions, participants were guided to move fragments of cut-out magazine pictures around, fitting them together in a surprising new way, then gluing them down on a card. Cards containing the images they selected — or the images that selected them — came straight through their Soul, bypassing the mind.

Healing through connection to yourself and others was the key intention of this workshop where our beautiful women were gently guided and supported through the creation and sharing process by Stephanie. Some came with an intention to create a card for a specific purpose, or just allowed their soul to speak to whatever was needed.

Stephanie is a SoulCollage™ facilitator and Psychotherapist in private practice in Adelaide and has extensive experience in group facilitation and is a trusted service provider of the Women’s Village who has a deep yearning for heart-driven community.

Mid-life as a Sacred Transition with Melissa Hellwig and Tania Guest

Our 5 week hybrid program journeying into all the feels of Menopause – 2022

A common theme with our 7 participants was ‘aloneness’. Because the subject of menopause is rarely discussed openly, women feel they have to traverse their mid-life stage on their own – they remain silent and withdraw, they become isolated, lose confidence, become small …. and invisible.

But through this 5 week program (4 weeks delivered online and the final week as a ‘right of passage’ ceremony), we made a difference to the participants who now feel more confident and ready to step into the role of a ‘wise woman’ in our society.

Being witnessed through such a transformation by a close circle of sisters is incredibly POWERFUL, and we feel utterly privileged to have led the way.

The moments pictured here are from our ‘rite-of-passage’ ceremony and speak for themselves of the love, connection and support fostered between usl over 5 short weeks.

Our hybrid program was delivered with 4 weeks of online content, culminating in an rite-of-passage ceremony in the 5th week.
