The Art Oasis is a place of Heart inspired self-expression and creativity.

We will explore themes of ‘joyousness‘, ‘celebration‘, ‘what’s in your heart‘, ‘embracing imperfection‘ and ‘going with the flow,’ using art therapy philosophies combined with a generous dollop of self compassion and fun, whilst listening to a gorgeous mix of tunes, in the garden, surrounded by like minded women.

The invitation is to create art that doesn’t necessarily need to look perfect, finished, good, or even creative or artistic. Its all about listening to your needs and intuition in the moment,  being playful and taking a chance, having a go, even if you’ve never created, painted or sculpted before.

The art making includes:

• Collage creation -‘What’s in your heart’
• ‘Fill your cup’ using *Hypertufa sculpting/pot plant making (very messy)  including designing your own mold
• Embrace imperfection with *Kintsugi’, Japanese inspired gold leaf mending broken a ceramic cup, plate or bowl.
• ‘What does your heart need/desire’? – *Paint, sew, glue and decorate a calico bag,

The Art Oasis will be in a shaded garden area, weather permitting, please wear ‘art’ clothes ( they may get messy with paint or cement!!)

Alfresco style lunch, snacks and drinks will be catered for. Please let me know in advance any diet considerations.
